How secure is shopping on the Online Store? Is my data protected?

Shopping on our online store is completely secure.  Our site has a Secure Sockets Layers (SSL) to protect all private data between customer and company.  All secure pages will have a padlock in the corner of the URL bar to show you that the information on that page is secure.

We process your card details through Barclaycard and by using their software all our customer details are completely secure.  All transactions between our site, customer and Barclaycard are transmitted using SHA Signatures which use a 16 digit encryption making it safe and secure.

We also take payments over the phone for those who do not want to use their card details online.

Why are your prices so low?

We always get asked this question and the answer is simple….our prices seem low simply because other companies prices are high.  In fact some companies charge through the nose for their fire safety equipment and we feel that our customers should not pay that.  

Fire Safety is extremely important to our staff and supplying good quality equipment at rock bottom prices gives our staff the motivation and the satisfaction to work hard at giving our customers a good quality service.

We keep our overheads to a minimum and instead of increasing our profit margin we pass the savings onto our customers ensuring that their fire safety is fully compliant without cutting corners in quality or cost, simply because at these prices they do not need to.

Are they so low because they are budget extinguishers

Simple answer to this question is NO…..

We do not scrimp on any quality of our Fire Extinguishers or other Equipment.  Our Fire Extinguishers are of good quality brands such as Jewel Saffire, Firechief and Firemax.

We do not need to sell budget fire extinguishers because our prices for good quality equipment is low enough.  This ensures a win win situation for our customers as they purchase good quality equipment at rock bottom budget prices.

You cannot say fairer than that!!

What are the delivery charges for my orders?

Flat Rate of £6.00 for orders under £35.00+ VAT

Flat Rate of £9.00 for orders over £35.00 + VAT

Free Shipping for orders over £250+ VAT

We can offer Free Delivery to post codes B (Birmingham), for orders above £150 + VAT

Next Day Delivery is available but please call the office and place your order over the telephone so we can advise you accordingly.

How long will delivery take?

Depends on the delivery option and the products chosen.  If all items are in stock and the orders been received before 2pm then we always aim for next day.  If some items are not in stock then this will take longer, however we will either call or email you with an update. 

If order received after 2pm then it is within 3 days.

We do say allow 3 days for delivery and to contact us at the end of the 3rd day if your items are not delivered.  All items are to be signed for.

If you have chosen the next day option then we aim to get your delivery to you before 3pm the next day.

For urgent orders, depending where you are in the country we could get the order to you same day if ordered early that day and items are in stock.  There is a fee for this service and it is not offered via the checkout.  You will need to call one of the team on 0121 572 0750 to make the necessary arrangements.

Do you service and commission fire extinguishers

Yes we do…..

Unlike other online companies that sub out their servicing contracts, our parent company Fire Safety Managers Ltd is a fire extinguisher servicing company that directly employs BAFE Certified Fire Technicians who are fully qualified and competent in Fire Extinguisher Servicing, Installation and Commissioning.

The prices for these services are also lower than our online competitors as we supply in house fire technicians!!

Do I receive an invoice for my order?

No, all orders processed through our online store are to be paid for by one of our payment options before any orders are dispatched.  You will be forwarded an order acknowledgement and receipt once payment has been made.

If you wish to obtain an account with us then you may do so through our parent company Fire Safety Managers Ltd.  You can apply for a credit account by contacting one of the team on 0121 439 1220.

We will be happy to provide you with a credit account (Subject to Status) once a credit check has been carried out.  A Service Agreement will be signed, a credit limit given and you may order up to your credit limit subject to the 30 days payment terms.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept card payments either online through the checkout or via the telephone.  You may call 0121 572 0750 and make payment over the telephone.  Please have your card details ready.

We accept Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard and many other cards.

All our Fire Technicians accept card payments on site should you add the installation and / or commissioning to your order and you are within the set out area.

We can also accept Cheques, Bank Transfers and Standing Orders.
